Ivy is the least known wood, with remarkable qualities yet mysterious powers and said to be the least researched type of wood, and therefore rarely used in wand making. Its mysteriousness brings about uncertain powers in its magical qualities but is known to be unusually powerful in conjuring.

Boggart: His boggart is seeing either Terry or Anthony dead. He is closest to them and the thought of anything happening to them scares him.

Personality: Michael lives up to his Ravenclaw sorting in that he is a rather intelligent and smart person. He is a curious guy and likes to try to know every detail about anything he can get his hands on. He is fiercely determined and once he sets his mind to something he will not give up until he has reached his goals. He will take any avenue possible, allowed or not. He loved to read Transfiguration books the most when in school and still finds the whole subject rather thrilling. But despite his rather smart mind he does tend to slack off, so even though he could very easily get all O’s and E, he is rather average as far as grades are concerned.

He is a very goofy and amusing person. Michael loves to crack jokes and goof off with his friends, Terry and Anthony, who he is especially close to. If anyone dares hurt his friends he will make sure he gets revenge on them. In those cases he can get really hot tempered and moody. It is best to not get on his bad side because his anger is not something to mess with.

He is an overall friendly person...sometimes too friendly and can be seen as a playboy by some. But he really doesn’t approve of that title and has tried to change that since he has graduated school. He is a romantic at heart and will do anything for his current girlfriend or significant other. He really tries to keep good relations with his ex’s, Ginny and Cho and treats all females with respect.

Michael does have his selfish moments. He also can get lazy and get other people to do the work for him. He would rather let other people do the dirty work than getting his hands dirty. He can be sarcastic and snarky to his enemies and people he doesn’t like. He will say whatever is on his mind and is honest to a fault and will tell you what he thinks, even if it is painful to hear.

History: Michael Tristan Corner was born November 10, 1979 to a pureblood father, Daniel River Corner and a half-blood mother named Elizabeth Julie Corner nee. Parker. His father never cared much for the importance of blood heritage and in marrying a half-blood, can be considered a ‘blood traitor’. His father and mother met during school and were both former Ravenclaws. They fell in love during school and married a few years after they both graduated. They had Michael soon after they got married.

From a very young age he was taught to be open to everyone and not let any preconceived notions influence his choices. He also has a younger sister who has just finished her last year of Hogwarts. He is still very protective of her and always made sure to watch over her when he was at home.

His parents were proud when he got his acceptance letter from Hogwarts and even more proud when he got sorted into Ravenclaw. He quickly made many friends in his house. His next few years seemed to fly by in his eyes. They were marred by various catastrophes though, but he never tried to involve himself in them.

In his forth year he met Ginny Weasley at the Yule ball and started dating her at the end of his forth year. He joined the DA along with his friends the next year because they rather detested Umbridge and would do anything to defy her plus the fact that Ginny convinced him it would be a good idea to join. He dated Ginny up until Gryffindor defeated Ravenclaw near the end of his 5th year. Ginny finally dumped him because of his grumpy attitude and he quickly took up with Cho Chang. That relationship lasted only for a few months, though they are still close friends, even to this day.

He was rather shocked and saddened when Dumbledore died in the end of his 6th year and his family even debated pulling him out after that happened. They almost did but, they finally let him return after a last minute decision. While Harry, Ron and Hermione were off finding Horcruxes Michael was doing his best to survive Hogwarts though it was hard what with Alecto and Amycus teaching and ruling parts of the school. The DA was restarted and he along with all other the past members tried their best to train themselves and defend themselves from everything going on around them.

Once he graduated a number of things happened that would dramatically affect his life. He found out that his parents were getting a divorce and he finally found out it was because his mother cheated on his father. This has really disillusioned himself about females. He does not trust them that easily anymore and he does not get along with his mother that well anymore.
